I love food. I am a big fan of good food. I see heaven whenever I see food and tall, slim, great silhouttes figure never succeeded in overcoming my passion about eating. I do exercise regularly though, as a Muslim, we have to pray compulsory 5 times a day, which in every solat, there are pillars of solah that we need to abide including each step ; the opening takbir (Iftitah Takbir), the standing (Qiyam), the recitation (Qira'at), the bowing (Ruku'), prostration (Sujud) ann, the final sitting (Qa'de-i akhirah or Jalsah). That is at least 10 minutes for each solah. Not to say, I do the house chores by myself, I don't hire any domestic helper. That at least add up another few hours of rigorous exercise.... :D

I was first introduced to this Pancake House when I was browsing online, searching for a recipe for pancakes. Many blogs featured their tower pancakes and I start to search for the nearest outlet. We went to Mid Valley Megamall for a sneak preview of their menu. We ordered a few dish. I was craving for sweets and it was lunch time. They were having offer meals which comprises a few interesting dish. That was during Syawal about three years ago. And this blog wasn't even exist yet. Soon after that, I am quite a regular to this outlet and it was solely for their pancakes and waffles. After some time, I got bored until recently this House of Pancakes tenanted Paradigm which is near to our place.

This outlet were located at the second floor Paradigm Mall. I usually came in the morning, soon after they open to customers, that is around 11.30am weekdays. Reason being, I get to chose a nice table, fast service and of course, when it's only us in the restaurant, we get a nice, really nice serving. Ample portion of ice cream for your pancakes, hot nice fluffy pancakes served on time, smiling waitresses and clean tables, cosy ambient silent environment for you to enjoy your pancakes or waffles of your brunch.

Another thing about this House of Pancake is, I like their menu book. I do not get any headache nor dizziness to screw my brain through lots of menus. They have limited menus and a clear addressed list of desserts. Although what goes on your table when served doesn't look exactly the same as in the menu book, I like a few dishes on the menu anyways..

See what I mean? The first one looks very appealing and appetizing but the latter one..? Never mind the look, it taste quite good. The beef were very tender and juicy and the salsa were tangy enough to blend well with the beef and the rice served warm and the egg just nicely oozing out when touched with tip of my fork.

This trio combo was not that excellent but still, the pasta was quite nice. The brown sauce was very mild and goes well with the fried chicken. Also, their waffle, ...

Their golden syrup were too sweat and the first time we had it, we made a mistake by pouring half of the serving on our waffle and it ended up ugly, seriously ugly. A lesson learnt and we never did that again. It's always, we ordered 2 scoops of ice cream to go with our waffle then. The Pancake Tower was huge, enormous and it took me forever to finish it alone. Usually we share the Tower among four of us. But we've witnessed a few times on several different visits that a diner can whallop the whole Tower by him/herself. They must have magic stomach :D..
So, my verdict - it's a nice restaurant should you want to drop by. Their Beef Tapa is good and so does their waffle and pancake variants. Their smoothies were good too only, I do not like it simply because they make me more thirsty..no offense..;). Price? Affordable, go for their combo menu offer for lunchtime, worth it!
